EDT lessons in County Meath

What EDT covers

The Road Safety Authority sets 12 one-hour EDT lessons. Official session titles include car controls and safety checks, correct positioning, changing direction, progression management, anticipation and reaction, sharing the road, driving safely through traffic, speed management, driving calmly and night driving.

Lesson 1 is taken first. Later lessons follow the RSA order rules. Your instructor records each completed lesson. The RSA also recommends practice between lessons; EDT alone is not intended to be enough driving experience.

Enoch provides structured instruction and clear feedback after each stage. The aim is not simply to stamp a logbook. It is to help you understand the skill being practised and to leave each lesson knowing what to work on next.

€605 for the full 12-lesson EDT programme, including the logbook. Prices and diary space can change, so confirm both when you enquire. Reduced EDT may apply to some licence holders under RSA rules; that eligibility is set by the RSA, not by the driving school.

After EDT

Many learners still take further lessons before a test. Trinity Driving School also offers pre-test lessons, mock tests and repeat-test preparation if you want focused practice once the 12 lessons are complete.
